An immersive journey through Sri Lanka’s beating cultural heart. This experience honours the island’s oldest stories — from sacred temples and indigenous traditions to ancient claywork, tribal forest walks, and centuries-old rituals. Every day is a living lesson in history, humility, and wonder.

Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrival / Colombo 

Touch down in Sri Lanka’s capital. Ease into the vibrant energy of the island.

Day 02 – Colombo / Kandy 

Head to the hill capital. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth, and witness a mesmerising traditional Kandyan dance performance — pulsing with rhythm and reverence.

Day 03 – Kandy / Mahiyangana 

Step into village life. Learn to mould clay, weave traditional ‘pan’ mats inside a local home, and enjoy a hearty rice and curry lunch. Trek through lush jungle trails to discover the twin waterfalls of Rathna Ella and Kaluwa Wetuna Ella — hidden marvels surrounded by birdsong and mist.

Day 04 – Mahiyanganaya 

Spend the day in the Dambana Vedda Village, home to Sri Lanka’s indigenous people. Walk through the jungle with the Vedda elders, climb to ancient cave shelters, visit a tribal dwelling, and end your day with a roaring campfire BBQ and traditional Veddha dances.

Day 05 – Mahiyanganaya / Gal Oya 

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, followed by an afternoon jeep safari through Gal Oya National Park, a place where elephants swim between islets and silence runs deep.

Day 06 – Gal Oya 

Be guided by the Vedda village chief through ancestral hunting paths. Hear stories sung in ancient dialects and walk through sacred grounds — a journey into memory and myth.

Day 07 – Gal Oya / Ella 

Begin the day with a magical boat safari on Gal Oya’s glistening waters. Then transfer to Ella, where you’ll join a local cooking experience in a traditional kitchen and share dinner with your hosts.

Day 08 – Ella / Weligama 

At sunrise, hike Little Adam’s Peak, a spiritual hill with sweeping views. Visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge before heading south to coastal Weligama.

Day 09 – Weligama / Departure 

A final coastal breeze. Depart with a head full of heritage and a heart shaped by the land.
