Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrival / Negombo

Touch down in the laid-back beach town of Negombo. Let the rhythm of ocean waves and fishing sails ease you into the journey ahead.

Day 02 – Negombo / Anuradhapura

Cycle through history as you pedal across the ancient capital of Anuradhapura, surrounded by majestic stupas, moonstones, and sacred fig trees.

Day 03 – Anuradhapura / Polonnaruwa / Dambulla

Continue the cycling expedition in Polonnaruwa, gliding past timeworn palaces and rock-cut Buddhas.

In the evening, ascend the Dambulla Cave Temple, where golden statues glow in candlelit caverns.

Day 04 – Dambulla / Kandy

Climb the mythical Sigiriya Lion Rock at dawn, then drive to the hill capital of Kandy. Explore its lakeside calm, buzzing markets, and the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Day 05 – Kandy / Knuckles Mountain Range / Kandy

Embark on a day trek into the Knuckles Mountain Range, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve alive with rare orchids, whispering forests, and stunning ridgelines.

Day 06 – Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

Pass through misty valleys, stopping to admire the Ramboda Waterfalls.

Tour a working tea factory, meet local pickers, and try your hand at plucking the leaves that flavor the world.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, fondly known as Little England, for its gardens, cottages, and crisp mountain air.

Day 07 – Nuwara Eliya

Hike through the wild moorlands of Horton Plains to peer over the edge of World’s End.

Return to Nuwara Eliya for a relaxed afternoon of boating, lakeside walks, or high-tea indulgence.

Day 08 – Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Udawalawe

Take the mesmerizing train from Nanu Oya to Ella, a route stitched with bridges, tunnels, and postcard-perfect vistas. En route to Udawalawe, stop at the roaring Ravana Falls.

Day 09 – Udawalawe / Sinharaja

Rise early for a Jeep Safari in Udawalawe National Park, where elephants, buffalo, and birds roam free.

Continue south to the misty jungles of Sinharaja, one of Asia’s last virgin rainforests.

Day 10 – Sinharaja

Delve deep into Sinharaja Rainforest on a guided trail with a seasoned naturalist.

Spot exotic birds, endemic flora, and secret streams tucked under the emerald canopy.

Day 11 – Sinharaja / Galle

Head toward the coast and step into the charming old-world walls of Galle Dutch Fort — a UNESCO heritage enclave with cobbled lanes, Dutch churches, and ocean-hugging ramparts.

Days 12 & 13 – Days at Leisure

Spend two easy days in Galle. Browse boutique shops, ride bicycles through sleepy villages, sip sunset cocktails on the ramparts — or do absolutely nothing at all.

Day 14 – Galle / Departure

Pack your stories and souvenirs. If time allows, grab one last ocean breeze before your onward flight — the hidden gems of Sri Lanka now etched in your soul.
